THE GUN snowmaking line combines technical innovation with a robust design, placing strong emphasis on standardized industrial components, operational simplicity and snow quality.
A completely redesigned aerodynamic shape increases energy efficiency and throw distance, while the improved nozzle ring reduces the energy required for heating.
With newly designed nucleator system, THE GUN operates with exceptional efficiency.
The nucleator system minimizes losses from evaporation and the drift of fine crystals, ensuring exceptional utilization of process water.
An advanced dual nucleation system with De Laval nozzles ensures outstanding performance even under critical marginal temperature conditions. A precisely defined and optimized nucleation point guarantees instant freezing of water droplets, significantly reducing unwanted evaporation and thereby improving both water efficiency and snow quality, while enhancing overall energy efficiency.
For precise water dosing into the nucleators, Sherpa employs a dedicated reducing valve that ensures independence from fluctuations in water pressure. Thanks to this technical solution, Sherpa snow guns operate reliably across the full pressure range of 8 to 50 bar—even in marginal temperature conditions—without compromising snow volume, quality, or operational reliability.
At its core, the classic Siemens processor enables straightforward programming and seamless integration with a wide range of monitoring and control systems.
The user interface is intuitive and adaptable, offering flexible communication options that can be tailored to the needs of each operator, further enhancing the overall user experience.
